Father Bob Hennagin became rector of Holy Trinity in March 2020.
He had been the priest-in-charge since June 2019.
He was born in Detroit, Michigan and received his degree in economics from Albion College. He earned his CPA certificate in 1983. Banking brought Father Bob to Dallas is 1982. He met his wife, Kari, in Dallas and they married in 1986. Bob and Kari have three daughters, Tasha who has 3 children and lives in Dallas, Annie who lives in Abilene, and Stephanie who lives in Nashville, TN. He and Kari’s grandson, Colby, lives with them and attends Trinity School. Kari is the president and CEO of United Way of Midland.
Father Bob graduated from the Seminary of the Southwest having been sent by the diocese of Dallas. He did his curacy in Garland, Texas and then moved out to Atlanta, Texas as vicar of a small mission. He also opened and ran a homeless shelter in Texarkana. From there, Father Bob moved to St. Hilary’s in Fort Myers, FL where he stayed for 15 years. He then went to Holy Comforter in Montgomery, AL for 6 years. He has been an interim rector in Spring Hill, Florida and Abilene Texas. |

He is a graduate of Marshall University in Huntington, WV and has served churches in both West Virginia and Texas. Prior to serving Holy Trinity Episcopal Bert held the position of Director of Music and the Arts for the St. Luke’s UMC in Midland. He is also an adjunct teacher and choral director at Midland Community College and the one of the Musical Directors for Midland Community Theatre. |

You need JavaScript enabled to view it. | Phone: 6834207 ext:104 A Midland native, Kara graduated from West Texas A&M with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and an associate degree in Interior Design. She joined the staff of the Episcopal Church of the Holy Trinity in 2011, as Director of Communications.
As Communications director, Kara’s creative focus can be seen and felt far and wide—from the weekly newsletter to pew bulletins to Holy Trinity’s web page & social media.
Kara, her husband and two children are active members of Holy Trinity’s parish family. “The people of Holy Trinity really are my extended family,” she explains. “They’re always with me, no matter where I go.” |

Megan Irwin is our Preschool Director she and her husband moved here from Dallas.
Megan previously worked in the Child Development Program at Highland Park United Methodist Church for the past 16 years. She graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Science in Development and Family Studies.
She is thrilled that God brought her to Holy Trinity so that she may help each child achieve their fullest potential while sharing the teachings of Jesus. Megan is excited to bring passion for learning to a new home and work alongside the teachers to fulfill Holy Trinity's Preschool mission and meet the highest standards of childhood education.

JESUS GONZALES SEXTON Jesus Gonzales has been a huge part of our Parish family for 36 years.
He knows where all our treasures are hidden and can bring them out in a moments notice.
Besides cleaning and maintenance inside and out, Jesus is a crucial part of our Parish family.
We're so thankful he is our number one guy! |
