Bill Granberry announced that on January 28, Holy Trinity will begin "40 Days of Discernment" a process of prayer, study, fasting, worship and discussion. A guide book and calendar has been made available for each individual to use. The process will begin January 28 and will last through Sunday, March 4. Bill stated that the Vestry members are quite clear in our own minds that The Episcopal Church has chosen to walk apart from the Anglican Communion and catholic Christianity. Our hope is that this process will allow you as an individual member and the parish as a whole, to make a prayerful and reasoned decision on a way forward. We are asking all of you to participate as fully as possible in this discernment process of prayer, study, fasting, worship and discussion. This guide book has been provided as an aid for those seeking to discern how God is leading in response to this question: Can orthodox, biblically committed congregations continue to remain affiliated with the Episcopal Church, or has the time come to seek alternative affiliation with some other branch of Anglicanism? Father Mark Cannaday closed the meeting with prayer. The Annual Parish Meeting was adjourned at 1:20 p.m. Katy Brunner, Clerk to the Vestry
