Vision I have a desire to teach children about God and the love of Jesus Christ. I don’t know if I’m cool enough or hip enough. (According to my own children – I’m neither). Some days, I don’t even know if I’m smart enough. What I do know is that I just love children and all their curiosity and wonder about the world around them. By the grace of God, I have been blessed with the joy of teaching children and watching them grow here at Holy Trinity and Holy Trinity Children’s Day Out. We have fun! We play, we share, we explore, we learn and we truly love every day. Do you have doubts about being around young children or teaching children? You don’t know if you’re cool enough or young enough for the kids to relate to you? Maybe you think you don’t have what it takes to keep the children entertained. Kids don’t need another cool friend. They need someone that cares, someone that knows their name, someone they can count on, and someone to encourage them and make them feel important. We have such a fabulous church with wonderful people willing to "share the knowledge and love of Jesus Christ with all people" – young and old. We have many rooms to fill and I see them full.I have a vision of many children playing on the playground, singing in the choir and joining the adults in fellowship. I have a vision of all the classrooms full for Sunday school of curious children – all ages - engulfed in the stories of Jesus Christ. Help me to make this vision a reality. It doesn’t matter if you’re 22 or 102; kids are not hung up on age. We can all make this happen. No man is an island, and neither am I. Meet me on Monday, November 12 in the Parish Hall at 12 noon for our VISION SESSION. I'll bring the lunch if you'll bring the ideas. With God all things are possible.
