Vestry Minutes

March 18, 2008

The meeting was called to order at 6:46.

Connie Godlevski led the vestry in a devotional.

The minutes were approved as read.

Mary Collier presented a request for building usage from the Centers for Children and Family for their "kids First" program. The center would like to use St. Francis Hall and rooms 9 and 10 for mandated, supervised parent-child meetings. The center would provide all supervision and security. Action will be taken at the next meeting.

Both Sara Fritz and Angela Stephens are out of town. Although the church is showing a loss for the months of January and February, the amount is within budgeted guidelines.

In order to deposit the Sunday collections faster, Russ Robken, as head of the Finance Committee, will meet with Cindy Wimberly on Mondays to expedite the process.

Holy Trinity’s various trusts and their provisions were discussed.

The Vestry would like for Angela and Sara to publish the church’s financials on a regular basis.

Fr. Clifton Mann, Chair of the Standing Committee, informed the diocese that the election of our next bishop must be postponed due to a lack of the required number of nominees.

Our Boy Scout Troop has two scouts looking for Eagle projects. Repainting the parking lot was suggested for one of the projects.

Next meeting: Thursday, April 3 6:30pm Parish Hall

Respectfully submitted,

Terry Jolliffe

Vestry Clerk
