Outreach Council

 Mission and Outreach Council researches, develops, oversees and maintains the Outreach projects of Holy Trinity and emphasizes and promotes Parish participation.

 

Ongoing Outreach

Meals on Wheels - Holy Trinity has its own route and serves every day of the week. The serving teams are complete and they have one substitute. Contact Bonnie Hubbard / Barbara Schatz

Soup Kitchen - Tues and/or Thurs 11:00 am – 1:00 pm, weekly, monthly or yearly - individual commitment. Contact Bo Bohannon/Mike Senich

Santa Maria – ongoing food collection for Jubilee Mission Food Pantry. Please continue to support this by bringing food every week. Contact: Nancy Stewart

Hope House – donation of supplies are always needed and occasional help needed to visit or check on temporary residents for this Guest House for Cancer Patients being treated from out of town. Contact: Paula Howbert

Musikgarten - babies through toddler ages; music and movement classes (Babies, Toddlers and Pre-school), 40 students.

CDO - Children’s Day Out Program includes 60 children. Contact: Melanie Ulicnik

Nancy’s Place – Spiritual Center for Healing and Creativity. Contact: Jenness Gilles

Community Children’s Clinic – Meets every other Saturday. Contact: Marilyn Philpy

Facility Outreach

The use of our Parish facilities at no expense to the various groups listed

Kids First - Holy Trinity began hosting this program with Centers for Families and Children to offer a safe and controlled place for court ordered visitation of non-custodial parents to visit with their children. Some training is required (Don Olive / Barbara Schatz)

Scout Troop 51 – Boy Scouts meet on Mondays at 7:00 pm and Cub Scouts meets on Tuesdays at 7:00 pm, during the school year.

Girl Scout Troop 520 - meets every other Thursday at 6:00pm.

Arts Assembly of Midland – monthly meetings held 2nd Wednesdays during the lunch hour, in Room 14 (Danny Holeva)

Midland Memorial Hospital Auxiliary -meet 4 or 5 times throughout the year (including their big Christmas party), on Friday mornings in the Parish Hall.

Financial Outreach

United Thank Offering (an Episcopal program through Episcopal Church Women), Global Bazaar to support Eternal Threads, Presidio/Rio Grande Flood victims, Missionary support, Gift boxes/supplies for soldiers in Iraq.
