Dates for a possible retreat were discussed.

Unfinished Business:

The Standing Committee may be meeting in Lubbock on February 13, 2008.  If a meeting is scheduled, Jody will ask if a delegation from Holy Trinity may be heard.

There is some confusion as to whether or not Holy Trinity will be unable to vote for the bishop in May or if this parish will only be unable to vote in the October convention. Jody proposed that resolutions be sent to the convention, the deanery, the chancellor of the diocese.  He noted that resolutions must be submitted 45 days before a convention in order to be considered and then read a draft of his resolution.

The search for an interim rector is continuing and, until one can be found, Fr. Whitman, Fr. Slaytor, and Fr. Bonnington will serve as supply priests.

Next meeting: Thursday, February 14 (6:30 pm) to hear a report from the meeting with the Standing Committee.

Next regular meeting: Thursday, February 21 (6:30 pm).

The meeting adjourned at 8:20.

Respectfully submitted,

Terry Jolliffe
