MINUTES

Vestry Regular Meeting

Thursday, February 15, 2007

Members Present: Father Mark Cannaday, Father Andy Powell, Bill Granberry, Sr. Warden; John Holmes, Jr. Warden; Anne Hover, Bill Wallace, Rick Menchaca, Chip Smith, Marilyn Allen, Lea Crump, Terry Staub, Carol Armstrong, Bill Holmes, Julie Harvey.

Members unable to Attend: None

Father Mark called the meeting to order at 5:30pm with a prayer.

The vestry shared with each other their personal updates.

Father Mark presented the Bible reading for today.

Chip Smith presented the Treasurers report for Kim Henderson. See attached. John Holmes moved to have Jim Ware continue to audit The Holy Trinity books. The motion was seconded and passed.

Anne Hover was elected as clerk for 2007.

Terry Staub moved to appoint Joyce Petrich, John Holmes, Bill Granberry and Anne Hover to be check signers. The motion was seconded and passed.

Father Mark gave the Rectors report. There was a request to have Parish Program reports to the vestry on a regular basis. Marilyn and Rick will meet with Mark and Andy to brainstorm ideas of how this can be achieved. They will report back in March.

Mission Request: Father Mark presented Easter College, an Episcopal school in the Philippines that is need of funds. Discussion followed. Lea Crump moved to make a one time gift to Easter College that represents the January 2007 withheld apportionment. The motion was seconded and passed.

Bill Granberry, Sr. Warden, discussed the February 5 visit and dinner with Bishop Ohl, Father Mark and Father Andy and John Holmes.

The Board went into an Executive Session.

The Board came out of Executive Session.

The logistics of the March 4 vote were discussed. Bill Granberry appointed John Holmes, Jr. Warden; Clark Lea; Chancellor and Anne Hover, Parliamentarian to work out the logistics.

A transition committee was formed in order to prepare for a possible separation, depending on the March 4 vote. John Holmes, Bill Wallace, Fr. Andy, Fr. Mark and Joyce Petrich will serve on this committee.

John Holmes, Jr. Warden reported on

The alarm system. ____ has been paid, but has not been available to install the alarm system. Clark Lea, Chancellor will send a letter to--------- with regards to this matter.

Termites have been detected in the Nancy's Place. Extermination of the termites is estimated at $3400.00.

The playground surface was discussed. John will meet with Karen and Dedee to discuss a temporary solution.

Father Andy, Assistant Rector reported on

Great Dates - The next Great Date event is Saturday, March 3.

Happening - 11 Diocesan wide adolescents participated. It was a huge success.

Father Mark asked for a meeting review. Action items were discussed for the March meeting.

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 7:30PM.
