Deborah Chester and Mary Lou Cassidy presented the Year in Review.
Anna Chester distributed copies of our parish questionnaire and profile.
Anne Hover reported that the search committee was in stage two of the selection process; they have received 2 names from the diocese; will send 50 letters to prospective applicants and welcome names from the parish. Bishop Ohl suggests that we not be in a hurry.
Jody announced that pledge cards were available in the Parish Hall and that the council system is now operational. The Strategic Planning Committee met yesterday and the first year goals are posted in the Parish Hall. Joy pointed out the mission and vision statements and read the new vision statement. The vision statement was adopted by the parish.

Vestry: Mary Lou Cassidy, Will Green, Liza Philpy, J.K. Wilson

Don Olive reported on the Holy Trinity Trust Fund.
Jody Gilles reported that, in accordance with an agreement with the diocese, Holy Trinity will tithe 10% of plate and pledge to the diocese from July 1, 2009 forward. Our apportionment for 2009 was 112,000. The Standing Committee has given voice and vote to Good Shepherd, San Angelo. George Hover asked of a 21% apportionment was still appropriate. Neal Allen asked how long the tithe would be paid and Jody replied that no end date has yet been set. Liza Philpy asked where the tithe (estimated 55,000) would come from. Mark Wheeler pointed out that, since we do not currently have a rector, the funds would probably be available. He further stated that the 55,000 figure was an estimate only and the actual tithe would be based on actual receipts. Anne Hover moved and Will Green seconded that the budget be accepted. The motion passed.
Directories were distributed.
Don Olive, Connie Godlevski, Marilyn Allen and Mark Wheeler were thanked for their service to the vestry.
The meeting adjourned at 1:15pm
