Sunday School
The Children’s Sunday School
program is wonderful at Holy Trinity.
The children are blessed to have devoted and enthusiastic leaders in
all of the classes. The curriculum used is from Gospel Light and gives
teachers all the ideas they need to keep children involved in
learning—games, art, storytelling, science and more!
The lessons encourage the groups to study the Bible for themselves and
express their understanding of Bible truths.
First Communion
A child may take communion at any age. We do not believe that a certain
"understanding" of the proceedings is necessary for the sacrament to
be valid. The decision of when to take communion is left up to the child and
his/her parents. However we currently offer a First Communion Class, which is
recommended during the first grade. Contact Karen

Children's Chapel
Children ages three to seven don’t squirm through these services. They are the acolytes, ushers, and song leaders! Our Children’s Chapel in the courtyard is a beautiful place of worship. Children come into “God’s House” for their own worship service, offered during the 10 o’clock service each Sunday except for the first Sunday of the month. Every first Sunday of the month the children join the adults during the regular service for a “Children’s Sermon.” Chapel leaders follow a child-oriented liturgy, and children are brought into “big church” during the Peace. Nursery Our Nursery is available for infants through pre-school age during the Sunday morning Sunday school classes and the 10 o’clock service, as well as during Wednesday evening activities. The nursery is also available upon request for special classes and services by contacting the Director of Christian Education in the church office. The Nursery staff is experienced with children of all ages and certified for both CPR and First Aid. The primary goal of our Nursery staff is to provide a safe environment. Children's Day Out (CDO) Why Children's Day Out? Our program began as a response to mothers of young children who wanted a safe, nurturing place for their children. A five hour respite to run to the grocery store, visit a friend, volunteer for a charity, take a class, or exercise. Although our name is Children's Day Out, our focus is on the children. Five hours for the children to play, sing, climb, explore, hear stories, make friends, and grow. CDO is for children ages six months to kindergarten. Our general program begins with the school year in August, and meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am - 3pm . There is also a fun filled, active CDO summer program. The CDO office will be glad to answer any of your questions by calling 915-683-4200. Contact: Karen Parnell
