To live in and show forth the fruits of the Holy Spirit, to do God’s work in the world, to grow the Body of Christ in this place, and to teach the foundations of Christian faith and practice.

Sharing the knowledge and love of Jesus Christ with all people.

Statement of Faith

The life and ministries of the Episcopal Church of the Holy Trinity are firmly based in the doctrines of the Holy Scriptures, which we believe are the inspired Word of God and thus authoritative in our lives. We interpret the Bible in the way of traditional Anglican Christianity, which means that we interpret the major doctrines of the Bible as distilled in the clauses of the historic Creeds and incorporated in TheBook of Common Prayer. Scripture, Creeds, and Prayer Book express and continuously shape our faith and practice.

Our purpose at Holy Trinity has remained the same since our Mission was established, circa 1910: to provide opportunities for people to deepen their relationship with God in Christ and to serve him with the gifts each of us has been given. We recognize that people come to Christ in different ways and by various means, and that each of us is on his or her own faith journey. Nevertheless, we are a united Christian community – a family – with Christ at the head. We seek to deepen our relationship with God in Jesus Christ and we intend to pursue the abundant life together.

Holy Trinity Church is a full parish member of the Episcopal Diocese of Northwest Texas, which is headquartered an hour and a half north of us in Lubbock. We strongly urge the reader to visit the Episcopal Church in the Diocese of Northwest Texas website at www.nwtdiocese.org.  Holy Trinity parishioners are very involved with the Diocese and we enjoy a great relationship with the Bishop of Northwest Texas, the Right Reverend Scott Mayer and his staff.
